This is a fantastic lot of two spear heads and two daggers made in the area of New Guinea & the Admiralty Islands. These are finely made chipped black obsidian dagger blades made from the volcanic glass like obsidian that is only found in the Maus Province of Papua New Guinea. The blades are then mounted in Parinarium nut paste, made from the fruit of the Parinarium or Putty Nut tree (Atuna racemosa racemosa)
